Spreadist
Content policy

What can I promote on Spreadist?

Spreadist helps businesses, creators and organisations get their products, services, content and ideas in front of more people. Here's what's welcome, what needs a closer look, and what isn't allowed.

Promote what you do. Not everything is permitted.

Spreadist welcomes legitimate businesses, products, services, content, events and opportunities. Every campaign must be truthful, lawful and compliant with our platform rules. Some categories require additional verification or approval, and we may reject or remove campaigns that put participants, customers or the platform at risk.

What you can't promote

Two groups: things we never allow, and things that need extra checks first.

Restricted: needs approval

These may need additional checks, legal compliance or explicit approval from our team before a campaign can run.

  • Financial products, investments, loans and cryptocurrency
  • Alcohol, tobacco, nicotine and vaping products
  • Medicines, health products and medical treatments
  • Gambling, betting and lotteries
  • Adult-oriented products or services
  • Political campaigns and certain advocacy promotions
  • Competitions, prize draws and giveaways
  • Products or services subject to age restrictions
Prohibited: never allowed

Campaigns involving any of these are rejected, and removed if they slip through.

  • Illegal products, services or activities
  • Fraud, scams, impersonation or misleading claims
  • Counterfeit goods or stolen products
  • Malware, phishing or deceptive schemes
  • Exploitative, abusive or otherwise unlawful content
  • Products or services intended to facilitate harm

What about these cases?

Some promotions aren't obvious. Here's where we stand.

What vs how

What you promote is separate from how

The product category is one decision. The campaign method is another. A book can be promoted through content distribution, creator content, reviews or affiliate sales. This policy covers what you promote. Your campaign type decides how it's spread.

Not sure whether your campaign is eligible?

Submit your details for review before launching. Our team checks every campaign by hand and will tell you if anything needs changing.

Version 1.0 · Last updated 11 October 2026. We keep dated versions of this policy so you can see what has changed. National laws, advertising rules and the rules of the social platforms creators post on also apply.
