Spreadist

Terms of Service

Last updated 11 October 2026

These terms explain the rules for using Spreadist, whether you run campaigns as a business or complete them as a creator. Please read them carefully.

1. About these terms

Spreadist is a platform where businesses run distribution campaigns and everyday creators complete them for a reward. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Spreadist.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Spreadist for a business, you confirm you have authority to act for it.

2. Accounts

You choose a business or creator account when you sign up. Give accurate information, keep your password secure, and tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity on your account.

One person or business should hold one account. We may refuse, suspend or close accounts that are duplicated, misleading or used to avoid a previous suspension.

3. How campaigns work

Businesses submit a campaign describing what they want distributed or reviewed. Spreadist reviews each campaign before it goes live and may approve it, ask for changes or decline it. A campaign is quoted in the currency shown to the business and does not go live until the quote is accepted and payment is confirmed.

Creators can apply to live campaigns or be invited to them. The business, or Spreadist on its behalf, chooses which creators to accept. Accepted creators complete the work described and submit proof through the platform.

Businesses review submissions and may approve them or request a revision. Rewards are only owed for approved work that follows the campaign brief.

4. Payments and rewards

Businesses pay Spreadist the quoted campaign price. Payments are confirmed by Spreadist once received. When and how a business can get a refund is set out in our Refund Policy at /refund-policy, which forms part of these terms.

Creators are paid the reward stated in the campaign for each approved submission. Rewards are released after approval and paid out by Spreadist using the payout details you provide. You are responsible for keeping those details correct and for any taxes that apply to your earnings.

Prices and rewards may be shown in naira, pounds or dollars. Amounts apply in the currency of the quote. Quotes already issued do not change if our pricing changes later.

5. Rules for everyone

You agree not to:

  • break the law or the rules of any platform you post on
  • post content that is misleading, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights
  • make false claims about a product or service, or fake engagement, reviews or results
  • use bots, fake accounts or any other method to inflate results
  • attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the platform
  • take a campaign relationship off the platform to avoid fees owed to Spreadist

6. Business responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your products, services, claims and campaign briefs, and for having the right to use any brand material you upload. You must provide the products, access or information a creator needs to complete a campaign, and review submissions in a reasonable time.

7. Creator responsibilities

You are an independent person, not an employee, agent or partner of Spreadist or of any business. You decide how and when you complete work, within the campaign brief and deadline. You must follow the campaign brief, disclose any sponsored or rewarded content as required by the platform you post on and by applicable advertising rules, and submit genuine proof of your work.

8. Content and licence

You keep ownership of content you create or upload. You give Spreadist and, for campaigns, the relevant business a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, display and share that content as needed to run the campaign, verify results and promote the service. Businesses may use creator content from their own campaigns as described in the campaign brief.

9. Results

Distribution depends on real people and real audiences. We aim to deliver the reach, reviews or activity described in a campaign, but we do not guarantee specific sales, followers or outcomes unless a campaign states a measurable target and we agree to it in writing.

10. Messaging

Spreadist provides messaging between businesses and creators and with our team. Keep messages relevant and respectful. We may review messages to enforce these terms, investigate reports or resolve disputes.

11. Suspension and ending your account

You can stop using Spreadist at any time. We may suspend or close an account, remove content, or withhold unpaid rewards if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, or if fraud, abuse or legal risk is involved. Where possible we will tell you why.

12. Disputes between users

If a business and a creator disagree about a submission, contact our support team through the platform. We will review the brief and the proof and make a fair decision, which we ask both sides to accept.

13. Liability

We provide the platform "as is" and work to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, Spreadist is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the actions of users, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to or received through Spreadist in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform grows. When we make an important change we will notify you in the platform or by email. Continuing to use Spreadist after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria will have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you mandatory rights to bring a claim elsewhere.
